This was such a fun logo to pull together! My friend, Melissa, is an amazing cake maker and when she decided to make her social media pages feel more official, I felt very honored to be asked to make a logo for her!
She emailed me some ideas she had about colors, the water mill idea, types of fonts she was looking for and even how she wanted it laid out (a two-layer cake with a water mill next to it with her name above it).
After looking through some ideas I gave her a few different sketches to choose from. She loved the idea of having "Cake Mill" on the cake instead of around the cake so with a few more tweaks we finalized her logo.
